Summary for Focara: Focara requires a Google or email account for authentication. We collect only the data necessary to provide focus session management, device sync, and subscription billing. We never sell your data or show ads. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time.

1. Who We Are

Focara is developed and operated by Kelthos Inc. ("Kelthos", "we", "us", or "our"). Kelthos is a software company registered in the United States.

2. Data We Collect

2.1 Account Data

When you sign in, we receive from Firebase Authentication:

Your name (if provided by your Google account)
Your email address
A unique Firebase user identifier

We do not receive or store your password. Authentication is handled entirely by Google Firebase.

2.2 Focus Session Data

We store your focus sessions on our server to enable cross-device sync and analytics:

Session start and end times
Session duration and block level
Session status (active, paused, completed, cancelled)

2.3 Device Data

When you register a device, we store:

Device name (user-provided)
Device type and platform
FCM token for push notifications

2.4 Block Rules

Your custom app and website block rules are stored on our server to enable cross-device sync. This includes app package names and website domains you chose to block.

2.5 Subscription Data

If you subscribe, we receive from Google Play:

Purchase token for verification
Product ID (plan type)
Subscription status

We do not receive or store your payment method details. All payment processing is handled by Google Play.

To authenticate you and secure your account
To sync your focus sessions, devices, and block rules across devices
To provide focus statistics and streak tracking
To verify and manage your subscription
To send push notifications about focus session status

5. Data Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS with TLS encryption. Our servers are protected by industry-standard security measures including firewalls, SSH key-only access, and fail2ban intrusion prevention.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data (sessions, devices, block rules, subscription records) is permanently deleted within 30 days.

7. Your Rights

Access: View all your data in the app at any time
Delete: Delete your account and all data from Settings
Export: Contact us to request a data export
Correct: Update your profile through Google account settings

8. Children

Focara is not directed at children under 13. The Family plan includes parental controls and requires a parent/guardian to manage the family group.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
